ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Stacy T. Holmes is a television producer, director, editor, film maker, entrepreneur, and church ministry leader. He is a father, and a “Motivational Inspiration” public speaker who merges the traditional “just the facts ma’am” presentation with his distinctive “in-your-face” style. And he is the founder & operator of CDTVN, the Christian Digital Television Network. Not like the traditional Hollywood television networks. But rather, utilizing the existing social media platforms and technology available right now, CDTVN is an online media ministry creating original faith-based content; along with highlighting powerful Christian preaching, teaching, entertainment, and organizations that will encourage personal, professional and spiritual development in our viewers.
While coming of age in the inner city of Rochester, New York, in the turbulent 1960’s, Stacy and his siblings were shielded from all the noise of protests, hate and violence created by the social ills of the time. Instead, his blue-collar parents sacrificed to expose him to a rich, childhood of diverse experiences from summer day camps to formal music lessons, sports, and the arts.
It wasn’t until later in life, and having children of his own, that Stacy acknowledged how much he benefitted from these experiences. From the ability to excel both as an Urban Suburban Transfer Student, who was bused to a majority white school every day, while at the same time being a member of the 99.9% black Mighty Liberators Drum and Bugle Corps. An inner-city organization, straight out of the “ghetto” where they practiced in the heart of the Baden Street Settlement in Rochester, NY. Or rather, what they affectionately called “the projects” back in the day. Proudly wearing their red, black and green uniform.
Mr. Holmes has translated the daily lessons learned from successfully navigating these culturally diverse communities, seamlessly integrating them into his life with the ability to defy stereotypes, set outrageous goals, and find creative ways to overcome the challenges of achieving those goals. He has forged his trademarked universal message to encourage personal, professional, and spiritual growth, regardless of status, profession or world view; a message articulated in April 2025 through Westbow Press in his first published book, “It’s 12:01… Let’s Go Baby! We got work to do.”
Professionally, Stacy T. Holmes, ACE (Adobe Certified Expert) has accumulated over forty years of Radio/TV/Film experience from producer/director to on-air talent, voice-over artist, graphic designer, scripted sitcom writer, podcaster, videographer, media-ministry leader, and editor. In addition, he was the owner and operator of Studio3South in the early 2000’s, a video production company serving clients from commercial to non-profit, government and faith-based organizations.
Many of the projects Stacy worked on have won a variety of industry awards. Including two Regional Emmy Awards through his “good gov’ment job” in Washington, DC. He won multiple awards for his 2022 short film, “My CoronaVirus Prayer.” A labor of love project made possible by God and all the family, friends, ministry partners, preachers, and creatives allowing me to use their content to make this film the blessing it is.
Stacy was a former Board of Directors member for the Time to Fly Foundation for many years. He appreciates the opportunity to work with this organization that specializes in domestic abuse prevention, intervention, and healing. And, to this day, he still supports TTF in any way he can.
Stacy is proud of his four children, his nearly thirty-five-year marriage, and his service to his church and community. He lives with passion and believes that every moment marks a new beginning. The beginning of a brand-new day. If nothing else, that is the motivational inspiration message Stacy desires to give to anyone who will listen.
